4-H offers a number of scholarships at the county and state level. Active 4-H members who are graduating seniors are eligible to apply.
STATE: The state offers approximately ten different scholarships. Youth may apply for any state scholarship for which they are eligible, using the same application form for all state scholarships.
- To apply for a state 4-H scholarship, go to www.utah4-H.org and download the form. The scholarship application, portfolio, transcript, and letters of recommendation are due to the County 4-H Office by February 1st.
COUNTY: There are two Weber County 4-H scholarships. Graduating seniors active in any project area are eligible to apply for either or both of these scholarships. Youth must submit a SEPARATE PACKET (scholarship application, essay, transcript, and letters of recommendation) for each application and send/deliver to the appropriate location by February 1st.
- Commitment to Agriculture Foundation / 4-H Scholarship- (PDF Fillable Application) Scholarship amount varies; scholarship can be used at any higher education institution. Must be postmarked no later than February 1st and mailed to: Melisa Griffith, Commitment to Agriculture Foundation, PO Box 565, Huntsville, UT 84317. Please Note: This scholarship is different from the Utah CTA/FFA Scholarship. It is possible for youth who are active in both 4-H and FFA to apply for both scholarships; however, two separate scholarships packets must be submitted. You can get the Utah CTA/FFA scholarship at www.utahcta.org.
- Weber County 4-H Scholarship – (PDF Fillable Application) $500; scholarship must be used at Utah State University. Must be delivered to the 4-H office no later than February 1st.
